The man hums. “A week from Sunday”, he says, now turning fully towards Sirius. “Funnily enough, I’m her best man, and I’m still missing a plus one.”
Sirius can feel his smile widening. “Oh, poor you. Can’t have that.” He throws his hair over his shoulder and sees the man’s eyes catch on his collar bone peeking out under the collar of his stretched out shirt. “If only there was a way I could help you.”
“Well, you could always offer to come with me”, the man says, voice soft and smooth like honey when he leans closer.
“Or you could just ask me.”

A beat or two later Remus’ own bed curtains are drawn, slowly, quietly. He turns around with wide eyes, catching a silhouette before it climbs into the bed and pulls the curtains closed again.
“Move over.”
Remus is too stunned to do anything but scoot back until he almost falls off the other side of the bed. Sirius fumbles in the dark for a moment, then crawls under the thick blanket and rests his head on one corner of Remus’ pillow. Remus keeps staring, and once his eyes get used to the dark again he can see Sirius staring right back.

A soft smile spreads on Will’s lips before he opens his eyes and looks at Nico, slowly making his way from the bedroom door towards Will. He has sleep in his eyes and the duvet wrapped around his shoulders. His feet are bare and probably freezing.
“Wind.” Will makes room on the bench for Nico and pulls his feet up. “You?”
Nico sits on the other end of the window bench, spreading the duvet over both of them. “Bed got cold without you.”
In daylight, Will would snort and roll his eyes.

”So”, says a voice to Nico’s left, making him jump a little. He turns to look just as the boy sits down next to him without an invitation. ”Everyone keeps telling me you’re the bad guy. Care to tell me what that’s all about?”
It’s the new kid. The one with the freckles. He’s chosen to wear an unfortunately green plaid on top of his light gray tee, but for some reason he makes it work. Nico doesn’t get how some people can just pull off anything. Maybe it’s about posture, or hair color. Or maybe it’s just about not really caring that much. Nico thinks he might never find out.
When it comes to the guy’s words, all Nico can do is scoff. ”Not really, no. But if people keep telling you that then you coming over to talk to me is either stupid or masochistic, and I’m not into either of those things.”

On Sundays, Nico gets to wake up slowly and find Will still asleep next to him. He gets to grab the closest thing he can find to wear and sneak out to make breakfast, then set it all on a tray and bring it to the bedroom. On Sundays, Nico gets to be the one to wake Will up with kisses and the smell of coffee, and the look in Will’s eyes is the best thing ever every single time.
