Laying on the top of the tower all alone, awaiting his doom. The only thing he could hear was his heart pounding in his chest. Not even the sound of the wind or the noises of people departing could reach his ears. Everything he felt disappeared into an endless oblivion. But it wasn’t unpleasant, he was willing to accept it, if it meant he could escape this cruel world.
