Summary

The last memories of his dream slip away silently, leaving only vague feelings behind. Simon scrunches his nose, trying to orientate himself in the momentary confusion of waking up. Before he can convince himself to open his eyes and at least check the time on his phone before hopefully getting to fall back asleep, he feels them- hesitant, careful touches, the pads of warm fingertips ghosting against his skin, following the slope of his back, the edge of his jaw, the rise of his cheekbones. The corners of his mouth twitch and he feels Wille's hand still in response.
"I woke you up." Wille is talking quietly, his voice still a little rough from sleep. "Sorry."

Summary
All of this takes place after Wilhelm's birthday, however, Simon and him never actually break up. Now they both live in Simon’s small apartment, which is rented by Wilhelm’s parents. They have apologised to him, understood how unfair they were to Wilhelm and now are trying make up to him by giving him some freedom, less responsibilities.
When Wilhelm thinks that him and Simon are finally okay, Simon becomes so unbearably distant. So one day, Simon disappears, moves to a different country and Wilhelm thinks he might actually go insane.
Their paths cross once again after six years of not hearing from each other. Wilhelm finally gets an explanation to his so waited and unanswered questions.
He hopes that they can properly fix everything this time. He's finally free and can offer Simon the life that he couldn't back when they were teenagers.
