Summary
Minho paused. "She even asked if I had feelings for you."
Jisung's breath caught. "What did you say?"
"I said no, obviously. That you're my best friend and I care about you, but not like that." Another pause. "She didn't seem convinced, though."⊹ ࣪ ˖

Summary
Minho just smirked, watching him gulp.
“What? No snarky comment?”
Jisung just shook his head, unable to say anything. He feared that if he opened his mouth, he would just choke up.
“Who would've thought,” Minho said, his smirk growing wider, “that being this close was what it took to make you shut up. I would have done it from the beginning.”
Jisung’s breath hitched. He didn't actually mean it, right? He felt his face flush a deep red, the heat spreading down his neck and chest. A confusing, electric jolt shot through him, a feeling he couldn't name but was intensely aware of. His mouth went dry, and he couldn't form a single word. He just stared back at Minho, caught on the web of his intense gaze, utterly lost.
Or after years of settling for a life he thought he wanted, Minho finds himself questioning everything when he meets his new employee Han Jisung.

Summary
Jisung aches for that smile.
He dreams of it—wonders what it might feel like, to be seen, to be wanted, to be ruined by a mouth never made for killing, yet still leaving wreckage in its wake.
He could lure him.
He knows how.
Just a breath of a melody, and the man would fall—eyes glazed, chest heaving with salt, arms reaching for the phantom beneath the waves. But Jisung does not sing.
He lingers beneath the skin of the sea, silent, starving.
Because the sea devours all things.
But him—his voice, his living breath, the curl of his smile—
Jisung would follow them to the edge of the world.Bookmarked by Skzkat85

Summary
“You think I wanna watch my own fucking back and yours?”
Jisung squares his shoulders, defiant now. “If you had been alone, the situation would’ve turned out the same way.”
Minho’s lip curls. “The same way?”
Jisung nods. “I wouldn’t have been able to fight it off of you. I wouldn’t have been able to do shit.”
“I wasn’t alone. That’s the difference. I wasn’t alone, and neither were you, but you sure as hell acted like it.”
or: the world’s falling apart—death, betrayal, and monsters that used to be people. minho’s just trying to survive what’s left of it. jisung makes that harder. he’s the wrong person at the worst time, and nothing about this is simple.
