Amelie has busted her ass in Manhattan bakeries and kitchens for ten years, but it was all worth it to open her own coffee shop in Westchester County. Opening 'Ginger's Snacks' is the fulfillment of she and her best friend's dream. If only Ginger had lived to see it. The shop is ready, all she needs is the clock to strike 6am.
**This is largely fluff, with slow burning smut to follow. It will use many elements of canon, but it is distinctly NOT canon. So try to forgive me if I have characters make decisions or behave in ways they never would in the comics, cartoons, or movies. Try to enjoy them for who they are in the moment, because I've tried very hard to make them compelling and nuanced - even if they aren't perfect.

Summary
When Hermione Granger awakens in the dungeons of Malfoy Manor it quickly becomes clear to her that Lucius Malfoy has abducted her for a reason. Why is she there? What could he possibly want from her? Why does his gaze linger far longer than it should? He knows what she is, and yet that doesn’t seem to stop him.
Lucius Malfoy was not the man his father had wanted him to be. He was not the man the Dark Lord had tried to twist him into. He was something different altogether, and he was more dangerous because of it. Even now, he could feel the piece hidden deep within, clawing its way to the surface, ravenous and deadly after being so long denied. It hungered and he didn’t know how long he could push it back down.
Part of him didn’t want to, and now with the Dark Lord’s return, it would be all too easy to sink back into the darkness he had long ago left behind.

Summary
The morning after the Great Battle of Hogwarts and Hermione Granger has never felt quite this tired or quite this alone. She fought hard in the final battle, saved the Headmaster and helped destroy the final horcruxes while discovering allies in the most unlikely of places. She has a lot of questions about how the wizarding world is supposed to move on after this horrible war, how she is supposed to move on after all she has seen and endured, how long had Lucius and Draco Malfoy really been on the side of the Light and why did she have this sudden and strong connection to the Headmaster? Also who was this mysterious House Elf who had arrived to whisk the Headmaster to safety and who was this other master she kept talking about?
Hermione has a lot of questions and has been hurt deeply by the war and it's after effects.If she will allow it, Lucius and Severus will help her answer all of them and so many she didn't even know she had. Hopefully they with the help of some of her true friends help restore the brightness in the eyes of the "brightest witch of her generation."
