“I shall tell you all that I know, but first you need to do me a favour. You see, dearest Wyll, everything comes at a price,” he says, taking a step forward. Wyll, as expected, matches his movement with a step backward. “And your father has failed you in allowing you to grow far too comfortable with receiving information for free.”
“The price of things is determined by how desperately the other party wants it,” Gortash continues with another step forward, then another, and another until Wyll’s back hits the wall opposite the door. “How great is your desire to save your city from this potential threat?”
Wyll is looking to wind down and catch his breath after a long evening of socializing at this father's charity gala. Unfortunately for him, this act of blending in only serves to grab the attention of one Enver Gortash.
What ensues isn't a particularly fun night for either of them.

"Light drops his forehead against his fingertips. One deep breath in: L is in possession of a volatile and proven-effective love potion dupe. Deep breath out: He hasn’t touched it other than placing it at his side. As far as the detective’s intentions, Light doesn’t expect foul play from L. Using a drug to get results is too easy for him – no fun if he can’t use honest cruelty to squeeze a confession out. Light takes another hard breath. L wouldn’t use an aphrodisiac, but would he himself do it?"
(Light finds L's secret aphrodisiac solution and decides to test it out on the detective to *very* successful results. But Light's not immune to the strongest drug of all - love.)
