“Maybe not physically.” Namjoon moved to sit beside Jungkook. “But in your head, you are. You are still human up here, where it matters. If you weren’t, my father would have abandoned all of you long ago. He’s told me that. And told me to do the same if I feel I needed to.”
Jeon Jungkook has lived a long life. Like a really long life. He has existed in shadows and on the fringe for so long, he forgets what it is like to just be.
He is not alone though. He has his coven. They are his adopted family.
But then he smells her. The sweet scent drags him towards her without any proper thought or plan. He promises himself he will only take one taste and then he will have what he needs to satiate his desires. But it doesn't. It only awakens a craving that he can not satisfy any other way. And when she is threatened, he has to make a choice. Should he uphold years of tradition that protect him and his family? Or should he abandon it all and protect the woman he now loves? It is a choice that he is running out of time to make.
He had never had something to live for. He wanted something to die for.

However, when Marvel seeks to cast Spider-Man as her character's love interest, she soon finds herself not minding the movie business as much. Billie never had a thing for British guys before but maybe she could make a small exception this time around.
