Loki and Iona Trygvedottir have never gotten along. She is a headstrong lady-in-waiting to Queen Frigga, and Loki is... well, Loki. The simmering animosity between them begins to boil when Frigga chooses her to make regular visits to Loki in the dungeons, bringing him luxury foods and items of interest. She takes the opportunity to give him a piece of her mind. Meanwhile, he's set on paying her back for all the insults and slights she insisted on lobbing at him while he was locked up - in the most vindictive way possible.

Summary
Set approximately 300 years after Lord of the Rings. A great war is raging between the people of Gondor & the elves of Mirkwood, following the assassination of King Eldarion & his Queen, the elleth Eowéniel on the eve of their thirtieth wedding anniversary by agents of a jealous King Thranduil, after Eowéniel spurned his advances to wed the son of Aragorn & defied his orders to return to her home. In his rage Allela, son of the slain King, marched the armies of Gondor against the elven stronghold at Mirkwood, where he was eventually defeated following heavy casualties on both sides, including the death of Thranduil’s only son Legolas at the hand of Allela. Mad with grief, the Elvenking pursued the retreating Gondorian forces into the Dead Marshes, slaying the remnant & marching south to Minas Tirith. Now Elália, younger sister of Allela finds herself unprepared for the Queenship with a diminished army & an elven host before the gates of her city…
My first fic, be kind! Rated Explicit, as this is a dark fic & will be taking an extremely smutty turn (read the tags, people!). If you have issues with BDSM, dubious consent or anything else tagged, I suggest moving along!

Summary
Thranduil gives a place of refuge to an elleth and her young child, saving their lives and giving them protection. Centuries later, he is ambushed in the forest by a furious female, who challenges him in a fight to the death. Rage, tears, and truths emerge, and he is stunned at the elleth's identity. Could it possibly be the same child who had run riot in his palace hundreds of years before, creating mischief at every turn and leading a young Legolas down a path of anarchy? And if it was, why was it her mission to take his life?
As both struggle to come to terms with what they know, feelings change, and the King finds himself falling in love with the inferno of angry fire who destroys the defences around his heart. Can they find a way to overcome the past and be together? Or will the lies and betrayal keep them as enemies until time runs out? A shocking twist ruins a peaceful lull between the two, creating even more heartache, as events crash out of control.Bookmarked by Snoffan
