Summary
Eight Hermits and their friends reel from the aftermath of the server they've dubbed Third Life. Those who were inside struggle to put the desperate actions taken in the death game behind them and those who weren't are trying their best to support their traumatized and mixed-up friends.
Mumbo just wants to wrap his head around what happened, and find out why his best friend came back from the doomed server with wings.
Impulse just wants to put his double-crossing past behind him and regain the trust of his closest friends.
Grian just wants to be safe from the Watchers who had orchestrated it all and are still hell-bent on hunting him down.

Summary
Being possessed and then stabbed by his own teammate and brother had been a bad enough experience for Lloyd, but Morro unfortunately has more misery in store for him; incensed at being defeated and left with nothing but his hatred for the boy who took the destiny he believes should have been his, Morro's goal is nothing less than causing as much pain to Lloyd, both physically and emotionally, as possible... by forcing the person who promised to protect him to be the one to hurt him.
Tl;dr: Morro kidnaps Lloyd and tortures him in various ways while possessing Kai, who can't do anything but watch, and the other ninja try to find out where they are.

Summary
When he died at Scar’s hands, Martyn had thought that would be it. He had thought that the game of death and betrayal and chaos he had been trapped in for weeks would finally be over. He had thought - perhaps foolishly so - that when he lost his last life and entered spectator mode, all he'd have to do was wait until someone was crowned the victor before everyone would respawn in the server hub and things would go back to normal.
It was all a game after all, right?

…wasn’t it?
But then Martyn died, lost his final life, and instead of respawning in spectator mode he found himself smothered in nothingness, darkness pressing in on all sides and voices whispering in his ears. They spoke of failure, of unworthy victory, of things going wrong, of plans being torn asunder. They spoke of fixing things and making things right and rewriting and repairing and changing it all–
