Summary
Saying no to Ilya Rozanov has never been one of Shane's strengths. And Ilya wants to collect as many of Shane's firsts as he can get his hands on. In return, he offers one of his own; one Shane never expected to be offered.
A confession years overdue and the fumbling, stoned, cringey, ridiculous fallout of it: questionable decisions, giggle fits that derail the plan at the worst possible moments, a change or two of heart, and one unexpected discovery about exactly what makes Ilya Rozanov whimper -- which Ilya absolutely will never, ever admit to.
Two idiots in love, finding there are always more firsts to be had.
TL;DR: Shane does weed for the first time. Ilya wants to try bottoming. They figure some things out. (Featuring: derailed sex, a prostate wand tutorial, and an unexpected toe-related discovery.) Prostate orgasms galore for all.
A quick note: the foot stuff is very minimal, and is more of a comedic beat than fetish content. But I didn't want to NOT tag it. If that's not your thing, it's brief and skimmable.

Summary
After a disastrous world championship last year, the league has mandated that all participating alphas must take a supplemental suppressant. The suppressant thrasidone acetate, infamously known as Alpha Thrash, is a harsh chemical blocker that suppresses extreme alpha aggression, pheromone strength, and mating cycles.
Two years after their marriage, Shane and Ilya are selected for Team Canada in the world championships, with Shane as captain. While Shane's only omega stipulation is industrial grade scent blockers, Ilya has to take the mandated Alpha Thrash. There is a very slight possibility of a drug interaction with his antidepressants, but it is so rare that the risk is deemed minimal. Besides, Ilya has taken Thrash before. It will be fine. Probably.
Or; Ilya has a rare drug interaction that causes a paradoxical side effect; the suppressant causes his suppressants to fail. He goes into rut at 35,000 feet. Trapped in a flying tin can of vomiting hockey players. Shane balances being an omega captain with being an omega husband with an audience of hockey royalty.

Summary
Shane didn't normally seek out chaos. But after months of Ilya's antidepressant struggle, a chaotic day at La Ronde with Hayden and his kids sounded like exactly what they needed.
Ilya has his own reasons for agreeing. They involve roller coasters, being a role model for athletic excellence, and reminding Hayden that he is the favorite uncle.
What follows is a day of blue cotton candy, competitive carnival games, and at least one spectacular vomiting incident.
But also: hand squeezes in the dark, sticky blue kisses, and the quiet realization that recovery doesn't happen all at once. Sometimes it happens at an amusement park, surrounded by people you love.
