Garp spoke from the pedestal of his own certainties, his voice ringing with the tone of a man who had never known doubt. Sabo threw words into the air, desperately trying to lighten an atmosphere that weighed like lead.
Everyone was talking. No one was listening.
In the eye of the storm, Luffy felt himself fading. He grew smaller, invisible, sinking into a space where his silence was swallowed by everyone else’s volume. No one noticed he was drowning right there at the surface.
Then, Garp’s voice cut through the chaos like a blade:
"If you could just behave like a normal child, Luffy... maybe Dragon wouldn't have left."The silence that followed wasn't peaceful; it was devastating.

“What the hell are you doing up here?” Aomine’s voice was low and steady, but beneath it was something else. Something unsettled that Kuroko was unable to figure out.
Kuroko blinked, expression unreadable. “Taking pictures.”
Aomine exhaled sharply through his nose, jaw clenching. His fingers curled slightly around Kuroko’s wrist.
“Get down.”
Or; As a photography college student barely making rent with a part-time job as a photographer for a small sports magazine, Kuroko has found a way to stay connected to the sport he loves on his own terms. But his past—one he tried to bury long ago—has found a way of catching up with him.

However, the statement and insinuation finally sank in and he felt himself going red. It didn't help that Zabini's mouth curved into a wolfish grin as the boy sat on Malfoy's bed opposite him and leaned forward.
“That's fine, Potter. It is well known that snakes have the most skillful tongues out of all the houses and we like to practice and improve ourselves. Now that you are one of us, surely you do not want to taint our reputation? “
