“I know,” Joker replies, shrugging. “But you two were like...” He waves a hand awkwardly to empathize his point.

Summary
It's been one year since the victory over the Reapers. Shepard's death had hit Kaidan hard, but he'd been ok: He'd returned to active duty, had accepted that he was grieving, but had been getting over it. Until he'd realized that he was not ready to move on after all - and that maybe he didn't have to.
Story is set during ME1&ME3, most things are pretty much canon, until they aren't. Can be read as a standalone fic (in case you kind of like it, but not enough to want more of it), has a proper ending, part2&3 are completely optional.
Exclusively Kaidan's perspective. No sex because I don't enjoy writing sex scenes, you'll have to use your imagination.

Their easy investigation mission quickly goes south as old reaper tech pulls them into a world of danger, violence, and bad memories. It's up to Kaidan to find out what's going on and get him and Shepard home safe. Which would all be a lot easier if Shepard remembered him.

Summary
This is a Mass Effect Teen AU.
For as long as Shepard could remember, he had always had a voice in his head. He knew that it wasn’t normal, but for Shepard it had always been part of his everyday. Always there, taunting and teasing him mercilessly. Today was no different, the voice was there in full force, a deafening sound to break his serenity.
A story about a messed up teen and the people that love him. A story of great sadness, anger, pain, love, loss, and finally hope.
*There is some sexual content, but nothing too explicit.**UPDATE: I have edited all the chapters and have made some changes, nothing drastic. I made some dialogue changes and have added some extra dialogue here and there, if anyone is interested in this revised version.
I suck at summaries, but I think that covers it.

VERY AU. Still same basic-ish plot but a lot of differences. Scott-centric, except his name is Tris here. Very slow burn. Contains emotional neglect/abuse by (a) family member(s), a lot of self-doubt and self-worth issues, anxiety, anger, and depression, so keep that in mind if you're easily triggered. SLASH M/M.

All he remembers is pinpoints in time. The flash in the muzzle of his rifle, the dull throb in his shoulder from too much Widow kickback. Shouting directions, fire in his muscles, his legs screaming at him as he ran. Moments of laughter as adrenaline hit its peak; slamming him against a wall of shame afterwards, once he's holstering his weapon and wiping blood from his visor.
