Summary
Injured by a hunter (and his own hubris), centuries old vampire Iuda picks a random house with the intention of adding to the blood on his hands. He finds the perfect victim, a good Samaritan, a lamb amongst sheep. Only... he's a polite monster. And she plays the perfect host. Not to mention she smells divine - it would be a shame to waste that in one go. So, he makes a plan - woo her, taste her until he is bored once more, then finish it and move on. That was the plan, at least.

Doru digs graves for his father's church and he's pretty good at it, thanks. Sometimes, the coffins have to be put deeper or bones moved to the ossuary because the church is small and that's a thing. And sometimes the coffins he opens have surprises in them. It's just - usually that's an animal or a particularly nice necklace or something - not typically a woman that speaks to him.

Summary
Benjamin Balry has always been told that you can only trust yourself and your immediate blood. Two years into the zombie apocalypse, he is surviving with his mother and sister when they are separated and he is bitten. He is rescued by a young man named Jer with the same affliction he finds himself struck with - a carrier of the zombie virus. He quickly realizes that carrier does not really mean asymptomatic however. The two young men grow closer as Benji struggles with his new life, searching for his own family, dealing with his own trauma and sexuality, and of course the apocalypse raging merrily on.
