Isaac wasn’t the only thing Gomez Addams hated in Nevermore. Isaac also wasn’t the only thing Gomez loved. Isaac wasn’t a “thing” even, he was his best friend, young and talented davinci, coy enough to cause trouble, smart enough to never get caught.
Isaac wasn’t like other boys. Isaac was… something else. Not only his lanky frame stood out from the crowd of purple-striped students, his curly head held one of the most impressive minds Nevermore has ever seen. Only one thing was bad about Isaac, and Gomez hated it with his whole heart: he was dying. Imminently, without compromises, his heart was failing to sustain his elegant body and pump the blood all the way towards his thin fingertips. His heart was failing more and more, but at one thing it never failed him — and Isaac hated it.
