Even since before they properly knew eachother, Lok knew that his (now) girlfriend was born into a noble family, as in "generational wealth, title, family properties, definitely some ties to monarchies and God knows what else" noble family. During the war with the Blood Spiral, she became the leader of the Casterwill family, so, aside from being of noble birth, she also had an official duty.
He hadn't known how fast would that become very relevant.

Lok Lambert learns that being a top Foundation Seeker and the Casterwill Champion is not always about fighting and looking for artifacts.
