Summary
The Shade came closer, and it was… taller than Melinoe. The only Shade that she knew was taller than her was Odysseus but he had retained his human form. This Shade was still ghostly.
Melinoe had once tried to liberate this Shade to the Crossroads but even though her incantation was successful, he just refused to leave.
(How did she know the Shade was a he?)
“You’re like a golden retriever.” She laughed as she capped her water pouch. “And I don’t mean it as an insult! You follow me every time I enter Tartarus is all.”
The Shade glowed a brighter red like it was trying to smile. Melinoe smiled back, albeit a bit smaller than what the Shade was trying to show.

Ning Yingying bent down to start to pick up the mess. As she was doing so, a notebook caught her eye. It was written in elegant calligraphy, one that rivaled even hers.
Sha Hualing’s eyebrows arched in interest.
“Has Second Wife been holding out on any potential blackmail that I could have been using this whole time? She /is/ a bad girl after all!” She cackled, bending down to snatch the notebook from Ning Yingying’s hands and flipping through the pages.
As the demoness did this though, the smile on her face turned into a perplexed frown.
“What the hell is this?!” She held the notebook a few feet away from her face as if it were a cursed flower.

Even Shin’s Mother and Uncle Mitchy couldn’t control Mikey anymore. A month after Mikey lost the use of his legs, Neo Toman fell into shambles. Uncle Mitchy called it ‘dark impulses’ and threw up three days in a row for reasons Shin didn’t know.

Wait a minute… The man next to him had curly black hair and sky blue eyes.
Have I seen you before? Shinichiro wondered. That’s an odd combination for a hair and eye combination.
For some reason, a name came into his mind with the face of a child.
Hanagaki Takemichi…? Is it really him? Shinichiro didn’t know why, but he felt like he needed to know if this really was the child he met in the park so long ago.
“Excuse me, are you-” His voice was cut off when suddenly, someone pushed Takemichi from behind towards the oncoming train.
Shinichiro reached out for Takemichi’s right hand and pulled him back to his chest, almost falling in the process.
