Summary
He almost doesn't notice the hole in the ground, lost in his thoughts as he is. It's deep, and looks out of place in the forest. More importantly, there's a child in the hole. A very small child, from the looks of it. The child themself looks gaunt and deathly pale, the strange clothes practically hanging off their stick-thin frame.
Nathan crouches down, concern etching itself onto his features. He's barely in the right head-space to look after himself at the moment, let alone anything else, but he can't just leave the poor kid there.

Abaddon is not a demon, but a human child raised in a cult, until he's abandoned and found by Nathan. Father-son bonding and healing ensues. Come get it while it's hot!

We know the hotel used to be an asylum. Abaddon is an unruly demon trapped in a child's body who likely terrorized the town for centuries (and still does). But if it's the 1950s, say, and a very odd child is causing a lot of chaos, and there's an insane asylum near by...

Summary
Following the six months Shigeo spent in Mogami's fake world, he decides to suppress and ignore the negative emotions tied to the event to focus on the world he's so lucky to be born into. Whether he wanted to or not, to be honest - his family's house is burnt to the ground weeks later, so he really had bigger things to worry about.
A year later, when things have calmed down and the air starts getting cold again - all the memories come flooding back. But with it being so long ago, why would he risk bringing things up and soiling everyone's mood? Reigen needs him for a job , though, and when that starts to go south, Shigeo might not have a choice on whether he wants to talk about things or not.
