The exhibition is a failure and everything Jekyll worked for is ruined. In a moment of weakness, Jekyll decides to alter his potion to allow him to turn into Hyde permanently. An act with unexpected side effects.
Lanyon doesn't know where Jekyll is but he's certain Hyde knows something. All he needs to do is hide Jekyll's assistant from the police and wring the information out of him.
Just one problem.

Ghost fighting came to a bit of a hault when Danny accidently changed in front of his teacher, Mr. Lancer. Lucky for him however Lancer (strangely enough) knows about a school that could help Danny with his powers. The catch is its a school for monsters and Danny is part human. Can he keep the secret for long?
TL;DR: Danny goes to monster high, makes friends, and fights for the school when certain visitors keep showing up.

The newscast paused, quickly looking between the papers of her glass desk and the screen.
“They are to be killed or neutralized on sight. This new Amendment was made with the help of the American public and a rising figure in the political scene, famed Monster hunter known simply as, Van Hellscream. With this ban…”
But the trio all stopped listening at that point. Holt found it hard to focus on the beats coursing loudly through his headphones when the only thing he could hear was his own heart beating horrifically fast in his own ears. Frankie sparked, her own mouth open in shock and face contorted in horror. Sydney’s teeth clenched, and brows dipped in fear. She turned quickly to Frankie, desperation clear in her expression.
“Go home. Now.”
Frankie sat still, unable to process Sydney’s words and the announcement at the same time.
“Run, Frankie, go!”

Summary

And this time, they are determined to keep their secrets from being discovered. Except, running from the past isn't as easy as that, especially when the lines between two halves begin to blur.
Coming-of-age AU from the angsty perspective of Jackson and Holt as they navigate a new school. A tad cliché and heavily inspired by Ghouls Rule with elements and characterisations from the Lisi Harrison books, as well as the G1 movies and cartoon series.
