People tended to forget she was there. It made it hard to make friends, always disappearing into the background, no matter how hard she tried.
And she tried. She made sure to be loud and enthusiastic, making big gestures and pushing as much emotion into her movements as she could.
But still, she was forgotten, only an after thought.
She was so tired of it. Always needing to push so hard, just for people to remember she existed. It was exhausting.
