In an AU where the ending of Act I never happened. Vi and Powder continue the trajectory of their lives in the undercity. Now, three years later, Vi is working as a bouncer at Babette's brothel and meets the new girl, a certain very astray Topsider.
“Well I think I know why he didn’t want to pay for the full hour.” Vi emptied out the whole wallet and put all the money on one of the lacy little side tables. Which seemed to have… a cupcake stand on it. Filled with cupcakes. Whatever, this girl’s interior decorating choices were not Vi’s area.
Her area was shaking down assholes who tried to stiff their whores. Once she’d emptied out every last coin there wasn't even the full hour he owed new girl, but that would have to do.
“I’ll be right back,” Vi said to new girl, and proceeded to aggressively manhandle the asshole to the exit. She finished it off with some flowery threats about what she would do if he ever tried to show his face back here again and then shoved him out onto the street, tossing his now empty wallet at his feet.
