Summary
Vanessa is timid and easily frightened. She jumps at every shadow, keeps to herself, and hides away from others whenever she can. She would much rather go unnoticed than draw attention to herself, and she isn't the sort of drone anyone would expect to step into danger.
But when she hears that a little baby has been left out in the snow, something in her refuses to let it go. She's scared, she knows she should probably stay inside, and yet she finds herself going out there anyway. She doesn't understand this strange new courage, only that she can't leave the baby to die.
What Vanessa doesn't realize is that this one small act will set a series of events in motion, bringing her together with two other drones and slowly making all three of them just a little braver.

But if she stayed, she would watch the last hope in those violet eyes die with her, watch that crooked smile fade, watch her give up on the future she had spent so long fighting for. J couldn't bear that.
"Okay," she said. It was the worst word she had ever gotten out. She said it while holding on, and then she let go, finger by finger, and went.
She left her in the ash with no future of her own, and that ash would be in her mouth for the rest of her life.

The Solver offers an end, twisted as it may be. The Moons will deny you the release of that end in any form.

Wassup! Nothing to see here just a little post canon Murder Drones fic so I have an excuse to write gay shit lol
I love all the lesbians so this fic is very Vizzy heavy plus some added OCs cause I can so, if you're here mainly for Nuzi than sorry to disappoint (they do appear as kinda main-ish characters but their relationship isn't the main focus)
The fic has a decent amount of plot and features vulgar language, sexual content (not sure how much yet tho), and graphic depictions of drone violenceWithout further a due... ENJOY

Post-Absolute Solver
After the final battle, everything slowly starts to fall into an mundane pace, and so the drones of Copper-9 finally have the relief to go back to their everyday life's.
And Uzi could agree with this.
Although, without having a world to save, she had the time to finally focus on her new found relationship with her boyfriend. But the thing is...she doesn't have a clue about how relationships work.Good thing she doesn't have to figure it out on her own.
