Summary
Following the Battle of the Five Armies, a grievously wounded Thorin is brought back to the kingdom of Erebor, which is still mostly in ruins. Although he’s survived the wounds he received at the end of Azog’s blade, his recovery is far from complete.
When she's asked to help the dwarves tend to their wounded, medical student Jasna Stoneham reluctantly agrees. Not only is she only just barely a qualified to even set foot in the infirmary, but she stutters when she gets nervous and nervous does not even begin to describe how she's feeling. To make matters worse, no one thought to warn her that she would be caring for the king himself, Thorin Oakenshield.
Unfortunately, the road to recovery isn’t necessarily a smooth one, but if there’s one thing Thorin will learn, it’s that what Jasna lacks in experience and training, she makes up for in stubbornness, giving him a run for his money. And for every backwards step he takes, she is there to push him three steps forward. And Jasna will soon find out that there is a gentle, softer side to the dwarf king, one that very few people have ever seen and one he fights to keep hidden from her as well. But like his recovery, that is also easier said than done.

Summary
Several years ago, a postdoctoral student named Elizabeth found herself landing in Middle Earth, a place that she had read and watched many times before. Only, this Middle Earth was different- darker. The Last Alliance of Elves and Men never happened for the elves abandoned mankind by forming a secret truce with Sauron. Mankind eventually won the war at great cost and quickly turned on those who betrayed them, the elves. Now, all elves in Middle Earth are hunted, and those caught are enslaved.
In this strange and dark version of Middle Earth, Elizabeth found her way to Minas Tirith, became a heralded healer, and eventually her medical skills, knowledge of Middle Earth, and whits granted her the honorable position of Head Advisor to the King. For many years she has served Gondor well and fallen in love with this magical- if at times barbaric place. Yet, all this changes when an elf she recognizes shows up. Now, she finds herself navigating the dark waters of politics whilst trying to keep both her morality and responsibilities in tact.
What will happen when she finds herself the master of an elven slave she never wished to own?

Summary
When Bilbo Baggins found an unconscious Katniss Everdeen by his doorstep, he did what any decent hobbit would have done: he took her in. When the Grey Wizard arrived to recruit our favourite burglar, he found out that the Valar had blessed Oakenshield's company by sending them a heroine from a distant future to aid the quest alongside Mr Baggins. How is everybody going to take the news? Is she going to accept the wizard's word for granted, or is she going to carry on believing that everything is nothing but another obscure plot from the capital to drive her insane? And how Thorin's company will deal with the olive skin brunette female warrior, that somehow manages to be more suspicious and suborn than any dwarrowdam they know.

Summary
When Thorin’s grip over Ered Luin weakened, he had to consider every means necessary to maintain the unity of his kingdom, including by marriage. He didn’t mind, until he discovered that his prospective bride was much younger than him. However, Kili proved herself to be quite a surprising young dwarf worthy of a king, and Thorin found himself torn between affection and conscience.
