    Robert grinned, turning his head fully back, facing up at the sky. God he hoped he would remember this when he woke up. The euphoria from him not messing everything up fogging his brain, lulling him into sleep. “Hermy… Thank you.” And with those final words he managed to get out, his mind faded to black. The comfort of the cushions and the warmth spreading across his body enveloping him.

    Herman always looked up to his dad, who was a superhero who worked closely with Mecha Man. One day, though, he started bringing Herman to civilian events with the rest of the Brigade. It was there that Herman met someone who he just knew was special: Robert Robertson (The Third).

    Robert's dad always dragged him along to whatever civvie events he and the Brave Brigade were doing -- probably to keep him from getting into trouble at home. This time, though, Wave-Crash brought his own son for once. Maybe it was a good thing -- this Herman kid was probably his only friend his age.

    In which Herman's father is a super, and Robert and Herman become close friends.
