He stands in the doorway with Prowl, watching his friends run along the current stretch of road, using other racers to get ahead. Orion, as always, looking especially charming with his smiles and mouthed cheers for D-16. “See?” Prowl says, gently elbowing him.
“Lunatics,” says Jazz, but he’s smiling so hard that his face hurts. “Fraggin’ lunatics.”
“And it’s your crush!”
He does not have enough self-control to refrain from punching Prowl, the fragger laughing all the while.

Cole had always felt a connection with death. Everything about it fascinated him. The way your heart stops, and your body began to eat itself. How you become cold to the touch, rotting away, eventually becoming a skeleton. Until even the remaining dust blew away in the wind, leaving nothing behind.
The First Elemental Master of Earth fell in love with the Queen of the Departed. This creates…problems for Cole.
This fic is discontinued. Sorry, but I didn’t like the direction it was going. Maybe I’ll finish it in the future.

Summary
It's supposed to be over. The Krang have been defeated and the world has been saved. All Raph wants is to leave the horrors of that day behind and recover with his family.
Unfortunatly, it's a bit difficult to leave the Krang behind when its embedded in you.
Stuck with a body corrupted by a Krang parasite even after the invasion has been thwarted, Raph struggles to move forward when the body that used to hold his family and keep them safe is now a living reminder of the aliens that overthrew their lives. Now the Hamatos must find a way to deal with the consequences of Raph's partial krangification while preparing for the looming storm forming in the shadows.
