Hello Everyone, it's been a long while. I'm still writing the story, but I want to rewrite everything, so the first chapter for this will end up being like the fourth chapter in the end. I'm adding a lot of new stuff and still figuring out how I want to approach this.. but I've figured enough that soon there will be chapters updated, or new ones all together, so keep on the look out. Also once I get the new chapters then the old ones out and posted, I will return the original summary, so don't worry!! :-P

Summary
The Asset wasn’t supposed to be out of the ice—not yet. But Hydra got greedy. The whispers of a god and a glowing cube with unimaginable power were too tempting to ignore. Orders were given, and the Asset was sent on a mission that should not have been.
Meanwhile, Loki, the god of mischief, has his own plans. Armed with a scepter and a formidable army, his ambitions are grand. Yet, as he seeks to conquer Earth and be revered as a supreme ruler, doubts creep in. Is this truly what he wants? To be a god to be knelt to? After all, he can’t go back; this path is now his only way forward.
(Or: Hydra’s hunger for power drives them to deploy their Asset during the first Avengers movie. A Pre Loki x Bucky fic.)

Summary
Jayce Talis has a problem. Two of them, in fact.
Problem #1: Jayce is paired with Ekko for Heimerdinger’s capstone engineering course. But Ekko isn’t the problem here: It’s Heimerdinger’s response to their new project, which results in him confiscating Jayce’s life’s work on Hextech and taking it who knows where.
Enter Viktor: Ekko’s reclusive roommate at Zeta Omega Nu who just so happened to be Heimerdinger’s assistant until a recent falling out left them at odds. With Viktor’s help, Jayce is sure he can get back his research and achieve his Hextech dream.
