Kory smiles at him sweetly, then she does something very unexpected. She bows. To him. Her head lowers as she dips, one hand fanning out the material of her cream gown, “My Lord.”
The air whooshes from his lungs and his tongue gets stuck to the roof of his mouth. Dangerous, he reminds himself, so very dangerous.
Kory straightens just as quickly, the laughter on her face tells him that his look of shock is a picture. Before she can leave or proper sense can return to him, Dick bows back to her. There’s a gasp of surprise from somewhere behind him. The God of the Underworld doesn’t bow. Not to anyone. Not to anything.
Even Kory looks shocked at his actions.
“Goddess.” He responds, no smile on his face as he straightens. Dick turns on his heel and parts the crowd in his hasty retreat to put some distance between himself and the Goddess of Spring.
This is not going to end well, he knows.

He isn’t sure he likes the circus much these days, it seems so much colder and lonelier than when he was growing up despite most of the people staying the same. Maybe he’s the problem. The broken thing that can’t be fixed as easily as a snapped bar after a fateful performance. But the circus is all he has, it’s his home, the only one he has left after his parents died and Dick can’t seem to let it go. Doesn’t know who he’ll be if not this.
Dick Grayson is lost, an acrobat at the circus going through the motions and pretending he’s fine but then he meets three people who will change his life forever. People who will show him that being lost means being found.

Raven was an empath. She could feel people’s emotions, she could read people. She’d known, deep down, even when it hadn’t seemed true, that Terra was hiding something sinister beneath her friendly exterior. She’d allowed herself to be convinced otherwise, but she’d learnt to trust herself after that experience.
But she couldn’t get a read on Batman. He was closed off, or rather, he was locked in a giant metal box and buried deep underground. He felt emotionless, almost inhuman. Clearly, he knew of her abilities, and he knew how to block her out.
But she felt a deep trust towards him nonetheless, a trust that did not come from her. She felt it through the bond she shared with Robin, a deep, enduring, unshakable faith in the man sitting before her. And if Robin trusted him, that was all she needed.
Robin gets hit with fear toxin. The titans get help from an unexpected source.

"Are you sure you don't have, let's say… five… ten more minutes?" She asks innocently as she gets closer, barely able to contain a smirk.
Dick instinctively moves closer as well, drawn to her orbit, feeling the temperature in the room rise up. "What do you have in mind?" He all but growls, his voice laced with heat.
Kory meets his heated gaze with a fire of her own, her lower lip caught between her teeth as her hand rests palm flat on his chest.
"Oh nothing, just…" She smooths over his shirt, effectively sending sparks over his skin underneath before her fingers wrap around his tie and she yanks him closer to herself. The second their bodies slam into each other and Kory angles herself so every inch of her is pressed against him, Dick knows he's a gone man - and she knows it too, because there's no way in hell she can't feel how hard he is already.
Her smile is nothing short of devilish when she holds him by his tie like he's on a tight leash. A very short leash. "I'm just going to make sure you're thinking of me while you're with her."___
