I was so moved in a way when we found out that Sox was to be Buzz's personal mental health and support robot, giving us the idea that even Buzz of all people might suffer from mental health issues and I am sure that so many of us saw ourselves in him. I love it when I get to have something to associate myself with in my favourite characters, and even if I don't suffer from bigger or diagnosed mental health issues myself, I hope that my experience as a bystander and a person who sees a lot of that around them is able to bring alive those emotions and thoughts in a way that is not romanticized or disrespectful, and possibly help someone. For me, writing and drawing are something to spill my heart into, to vent and process different things and emotions, and if my writing does the same for someone else, if someone finds comfort and help, even if just for a moment, then it's worth it.
