Summary

Despite success and fame, Lan Xichen asks himself: "How much of ourselves can we put on a plate to make ourselves understood?". His cuisine is an expression of himself, but it doesn't always find the recognition he seeks, especially from critics like Jiang Cheng.
Their meeting becomes a mutual challenge, where each tries to answer the other question: can a dish truly express what it carries inside?
