Summary
Patrick is cast as the Demon Barber of Fleet Street in a college production of the musical Sweeney Todd. David, a gorgeous but intimidating senior, has embraced a Goth aesthetic and seems like the perfect person to help him prepare for the role. As they talk, a secret is revealed and they discover that as opposite as they may seem, they have an undeniable chemistry.

Summary
David gives Patrick a lollipop to celebrate their one week anniversary as boyfriends, and then Patrick teases him with said lollipop.
There’s some humor, some sexually suggestive words and actions (because, who could resist that in a story about licking a sucker), and some romantic fluff between newly-minted boyfriends.
A response to the prompt “Stop licking that!” This was one of the prompts blackandwhiteandrose included as a possibility for a Rose Apothecary group write. The prompt was not selected by the group, but once I saw it I couldn't pass up the opportunity to use it for a story.

Summary
Patrick finds some of David’s post-proposal doodles and it leads to a discussion about what their last name might be once they get married. Cookies and cake pops are involved.
This is set in Season 5 between S5E13 “The Hike” and S5E14 “Life is a Cabaret”.

Summary
“We’re ready for this, right?” David’s voice was so soft that Patrick barely heard him over the sound of his tires on the not-so-smooth pavement.
“As the numbers guy, I thought I was supposed to be the nervous one.” Patrick chuckled as a smattering of light raindrops started to hit the windshield. “Yes, David, we’re ready. We’re more than ready. In fact, we need this so we can keep growing.”
Out of the corner of his eye, Patrick saw David nod slowly as he drew in another deep breath, prompting Patrick to reach across the console and take his hand again.
“We’re doing it together,” Patrick said, giving David’s hand a gentle squeeze. “Just like we did when we opened."

Summary
The front door creaked as David came in. When he saw Patrick in the front room, he wiped at his face, shaking his shoulders to hide the movement. Patrick crossed the room in two steps. Arms open in a silent request for absolution. David folded him into his arms, seeking and giving comfort in equal measure. Patrick let his forehead settle against David's neck, coming to rest in the space he'd long ago claimed as his own.

Summary
David and Patrick return to Patrick’s hometown to say goodbye to one of Patrick’s childhood friends. While there, Patrick grapples with what might have been different if he’d realized his sexuality sooner.
David stands then, knees popping, making that old man noise he doesn’t actually need to make, but likes to because he enjoys the drama of it. Instead of sitting next to Patrick on the end of the bed, he drapes himself over Patrick’s lap first, then across his shoulders, putting himself very purposefully in Patrick’s eye line. “I love you, and I’m here.”
“I can see that,” Patrick says, choking out the words like David is cutting off his air, which he is a little, even if it’s well-meaning. David readjusts, moving bony elbows, kissing Patrick’s throat above the tie David tied in hopes of moving Patrick out of the bathroom mirror they’d been sharing. Patrick seemed to have gotten stuck there too, thinking about getting ready with Nate on the first day of grade 12, tying school ties and promising each other a memorable year. At that point, Patrick should have known the socks and shoes were a lost cause, but he’s stubborn; maybe he’s too stubborn.
