Floor watched them through the thin slats of the vent grate. There was longing in her chest, throbbing like a dull ache right beneath her scar. Distantly, she wondered just how bad it would be to try and join them.____________
In which Floor managed to survive when the High Evolutionary shot her. She learned how to use her size to slip into small spaces, eventually escaping and surviving by hiding in the walls of ships. Eventually the ship she is hiding in is bought by a new crew... or, rather, an old friend.
Drax is convinced that their new ship is haunted. Mantis agrees. Nebula thinks they're both idiots, Groot doesn't believe in ghosts, and Quill thinks a ghost would do worse things than fix their ship. Rocket just wants to get this mission done with so he can get back to a proper ship that doesn't sound like there's something living in the walls.- Language:

Angel groans, sliding a set of hands down his face in a desperate attempt to wipe away his frustration. “Alright, Charlie, spill. You found the edibles, didn’t you?”
Charlie sags, losing her composure as quick as a balloon losing air. “…yes. Well, no. Kinda.”
“…kinda?!” Angel and Cherri ask in unison.
“I didn’t find your edibles. Um…Husk and Niffty did. And we sorrrta have a problem.”
When Husk ends up accidentally high, Angel Dust and Cherri are tasked with keeping an eye on him. Angel figures whatever, it’s what friends do, right? This won’t change their dynamic, no, certainly not.
(Too bad Husk is charming even as a drugged mess.)

Husk’s wings retract. The glass nearly slips, but he’s quick to catch it, before rearing back on Angel with widened eyes. His pupils are like pinpoints — like a cat, Angel thinks, before shoving the thought away and taking a casual sip of his drink.
(Husk had an inkling that Angel was a little ditzy, but not this ditzy.)
“You want me to teach ya cards?”
Husk and Angel bond a bit (and maybe flirt a bit too)
