“Springtrap, I’m back!” I yelled as I walked through the doorway. Just returning from Kmart, I set down the bags in my hands on the counter. The bags full of G Fuel cans left a slight imprint on my hands.
It’s so quiet, I’ll call for him again. “Springtrap!” I called out again.
“Yes, baby? Gimme a second.” Springtrap called back from our shared bedroom, sounding exasperated.
What is he doing? Have his springlocks activated?
I hurriedly walked upstairs. The stairs creaking underneath my feet.
“Are you okay? Have your springlocks activated again? I told you to stay away from wat-” I cut myself off.
After opening the bedroom door, I come face to face with Springtrap and his ex-wife, Clara. The look on Springtrap’s face was a combination of surprise, shame, and anger. Springtrap was leering over his ex-wife, on our bed.

Kwite catches Springtrap cheating with Clara. He wants to repair their relationship, but so many things have changed. (I don't know)

“Sorry.” He muttered apologetically as he went to pick me up.
He looped his right arm under my legs. He placed his other arm on my back, absent-mindedly.

Sae frowns even more, “do what?” His voice is careful and hesitant as he asks. Confusion peeks through the corner too, it’s stupid.
And Rin? He’s tired of this. Tired of chasing, tired of wanting.
Everything’s stupid. He’s stupid for even thinking he could ever make Sae look back at him.
“Don’t make me have hope.” Rin says instead of the words that lay bitterly and heavily on the tip of his tongue, quietly, and he means it.
An alternate ending to "In The Wake Of Absence (Is Grief)" where Sae and Rin heal instead of breaking.
