Rest days between missions meant regular camp activities, and more importantly, Annabeth, Clarisse, and Silena's braiding sessions. But things take an interesting turn when Annabeth accidentally uses a magic comb that presumably changes your appearance. That was the theory at least, since it was given by Silena’s mom.
OR here’s yet another fic that features angsty post-botl / pre-tlo percabeth, a dash of annaruegard sisterhood, a sprinkle of connabeth, and callbacks to pjotv s2 because the author is going through withdrawal.

A little re-write of this scene in The Last Olympian with some added tension and angst.
