Summary
“Do you think life will ever go back to normal?” wondered Aziraphale, eyes following a mother pushing a stroller, her face mask and outfit colour-coordinated.
He and Crowley, too, wore masks that went with their attire-- even if Crowley’s was a simple black.
Slouched beside him, arm stretched along the back of the bench, Crowley followed Aziraphale’s gaze without any reaction.
“Sure. A new normal, but normal all the same.” His eyes slid to a pair feeding the ducks. “Wouldn’t be the first time. Won’t be the last. Plucky, these humans. Stubborn buggers, the lot of them.”

Summary
There was something to be said for the view. A literal paradise stretching in all directions, filled with beauty and life and wonder-- rather than monsters lurking in the shadows, waiting to drag you into the dark.
Another laugh tumbled out of him, disbelieving and wet, a touch of hysteria at the edges. He and Sam had a hand in creating all of this. Two orphan boys, a rogue angel, and the son of Lucifer. Team Free Will 2.0 had done this.
That knowledge definitely made dying a little easier.

Summary
“Once upon a time,” Brother Francis began, a smile spreading over his features. He looked more enthused and delighted by the forthcoming story than his audience, a four-year-old boy draped over an ever-patient sheepdog. The dog was about as much his nanny as Nanny Ashtoreth, herding the boy around as though he were a flock of one.
“You’re telling it wrong,” Warlock informed him.
Aziraphale blinked, then jerked back in offense. He- Aziraphale, an angel of the Lord, who had been on Earth before the very invention of storytelling- was being told he was telling a story wrong?
The smile he forced onto his face was tight and did little to disguise the vein throbbing in his temple. “Pardon, Master Warlock?”

Summary
Unable to keep the grin off his face, Dean held up his finger again. “Remember: absolute secrecy. You saw nothing, and you don’t know anything about what you’re about to not see, okay?”
The corner of Castiel’s mouth ticked up, eyes bright with mischief and a shared secret. “We wandered a grey wood in the other direction before coming back. It was very boring. I don’t understand the point.”
Sweeping out an arm for Castiel to go first, Dean’s grin was nearly giddy. “That’s what I like to hear!"

Summary
Aziraphale squeezed Crowley's hand and slipped away. They weren’t really giving in, he reasoned as he did a quick circuit of the room. Not if she couldn’t see him and not if he couldn’t kiss her; didn’t make love to her.
It wasn’t any great loss, he reasoned, picking up a vibrator with a nozzle on one end. There were other ways to ravish her.

Summary
Crowley had questions and no answers, no direction. He was so caught up in his feelings for an angel that Crowley had turned traitor, setting them both free.
Free to… do what?
If I love him… would he Fall? Or, are You so far away it wouldn’t matter?
Are we free or is this another test?
If I fail this test, will it hurt him?
Angel, love me or let me go. Please.
Aziraphale stayed where he was, kneeling by the couch and effectively anchoring Crowley where he sat, the two of them just… watching one another.

Summary
Crowley had been given a commendation for creating Valentine’s Day.
Hell gave him another one when the holiday was commercialized on.
That had sort of also been Crowley’s doing however unintentionally.
‘What? You haven’t heard, angel? It’s Valentine’s Day! Day of the year you’re supposed to buy flowers and chocolates and give them to people!’
‘B-but… it’s a holiday celebrating… lovers, Crowley.’
‘Six thousand years we’ve known each other, Aziraphale! We had the Arrangement, have been raising Warlock together, we’re trying to save the world together-- I’d say we’re pretty committed by most standards, wouldn’t you say? Oh, don’t make that face! Look, what better excuse to indulge in worldly delights than under the banner of tradition? I brought fine wine, fancy chocolates, and flowers to go by the till. You can’t very well ignore human custom and tradition, now can you?’

Summary
When Crawley and Aziraphale met at the wall, Crawley gave his name but did not ask for Aziraphale's, coming to find him as if he'd known where Aziraphale would be, as though it was not Crawley's first time meeting the Angel of the Eastern Gate.

Summary
Crowley's loved Aziraphale since the beginning.
Sure, Crowley admitted his love frequently, but it had always been under the guise of teasing, of maintaining their cover story for a mission, never said in seriousness lest it get them killed.
Even still.
Aziraphale knew. He had to. Crowley was an excellent liar, save for when it was the angel. It had only gotten worse since The Apocalypse That Wasn’t. All Crowley’s apprehension had thrown itself out the window, an elegant swan dive into an empty cement pool, his self-preservation going right along with it. It was why he kept catching himself-- or getting caught-- just… staring at Aziraphale, memorizing the lines of his face, his profile, the way rays of the sun would illuminate Aziraphale’s hair. And Crowley was left smiling and boneless, warmth in his chest like a purring cat, curled in a ball with no intention of leaving.

Summary
Please, please, please. I’m sorry.
Crowley was sorry-- the part of his brain that could function was, at least. The part that wasn’t under the effects of the blessed curse. He didn’t think the witch expected this result. To curse a fallen angel to be desperate for the thing he could never have— only for the deepest desire of his heart, a demon’s heart, to be a person instead of salvation.

Summary
Crowley hit his palm against the steering wheel. “Of course I’d get upset, angel! Those bastards have tried to kill you twice, Aziraphale! Twice! I spend every damn day worried they might try again! Now-- Now-- your conveniently found and rescued angel is on the loose,” the road forked, and they veered off to a smaller country road, flying past a sign Aziraphale didn’t need to see to recognize, though Crowley gestured wildly to it, “in a god-forsaken national park? Well outside of London where no one can hear you scream? This mystery angel that just so happens to be leaking grace and emoting a distress signal so loud you can still sense it?” Crowley dragged a hand down his face. “Angel, sweetheart. Wake up and smell the trap.”

Summary
Endgame ending fix-it.
--
Morgan sat propped up against a pillow in the bed beside her dad, holding up school work and telling him all about her day as though he was able to see it, to laugh at her silly stories, to react to Peter having skipped school to come to her father-daughter pancake breakfast. He’d renamed it the big brother-little sister pancake breakfast. It was her peals of laughter and cackles of delight as she told him stories that made Steve finally crack and leave the room.Pepper followed him and wrapped him in a hug.
He held on tight, vision blurring. “We wasted so much time being mad.”
She stretched up, kissing his cheek. “And when he wakes up, be sure to tell him that.”

Summary
Crowley had been expecting the forces of Above and Below to target him, for Beelzebub or Hastur to seek retribution once the shock faded and the crime remained.
They had been careful. Crowley’d been downright paranoid.
Just not careful or paranoid enough to keep from getting blindsided.
Because when they came, they didn’t come for Crowley.
They took Aziraphale. [Length: 1hr13mins]

Summary
Like the cold open of ep. 3, this is moments throughout their shared history, all centering around gardens and flowers... and pining.
--
“Bit of a theme for us, wouldn’t you say?” Crowley held out his hand, palm flat. A green stem wove free of the earth, stretching and twirling. Leaves sprouted, emerald and vibrant, before blossoming into a bright white flower. He smiled, voice distant, “Gardens always make me think of you.” [Podfic length: 00:54:14]Series
