    Summary

Inana Lavellan can't see most things - not in the waking world, anyway. The Fade is another matter, shining like a beacon just beyond the Veil. She loves the Fade, where everything is clear. Most clear of all is the spirit-teacher she has had for as long as she can remember. He taught her when she was still a child how to interact with spirits without fear. He shows her ancient dreams and memories. He talks with her about magic and philosophy. She has learned so much from him that it hardly even matters that their timelines seem to meet at random, and he doesn't always - or even often - remember who she is.

Imagine her surprise when her dreams lead her to the Conclave, compassion leads her to the burned-out temple in the wake of the explosion, necessity leads her to begin attempting to close the Breach - and she discovers that the spirit she has known all her life exists in the waking world as a man calling himself Solas.

    Summary

Ixchel Lavellan's battle to find hope for herself, and hope for Thedas, never ends. But she has learned to trust the companions who walk at her side.

“Despite the secrets,” she said. “Despite the blood… Despite the doubt… Despite the weight of everything…”

“It does not have to be ‘despite,’” Solas replied. “You walk your paths with open eyes, and you have shown love and care for the world not ‘despite’ the darkness you see in it, but including it. Would you be so surprised to inspire the same in others?”

Ixchel felt her eyes burn despite the widening smile on her face.

“Though the path forward is unknown—to you, and to me… I find myself with more hope for the future than I have felt in a long, long time, Ixchel. So yes,” he whispered against her lips. “I am happy.”

    Summary

When Fate drops you in a world on the verge of collapse amidst characters you've spent hundreds of hours fighting with - and alongside - because you hyperfocused on the same video game series for practically five years, you have a choice to make; either run far far away, or roll up your sleeves and help. If you're like me, a person with too much empathy for her own good and an unfortunate savior complex, there isn't really a choice at all, is there? Here's hoping I don't die.

    Summary

Lyra is an elf from a different world entirely, where magic is an accepted part of the world and spirits co-exist peacefully (for the most part). So when a rift appears one day and pulls her through - landing her in Thedas, Lyra has no choice but to roll with the punches and make the most out of a confusing situation. Armed with the knowledge of both the past and coming future, Lyra must try her best to help the Inquisition and her new friends while also closely guarding her own secrets.

Which is easier said then done when a certain elven apostate catches her eye.

Will Lyra be the hunter or the hunted?
