Summary
Sonic returns by force to Mobius, having lived eight years in Camelot he does not expect to find his home the way it was before. But when he returns he is back to being a twenty year old and learns only two months gone by in Mobius.
He heals from his wounds and learns to act as his old self again, but his peaceful life in Mobius comes to an end when his old partner, Caliburn awakes in his world and pleas for him to return and end the war that threatens the safety of Camelot.Not going alone this time, Sonic takes Tails to Camelot and both make a plan to keep the kingdom safe and end the war.
However, their enemies are ready for him and prepared to fight back. As well as the leader of their enemy seems to know Sonic better than Sonic knows himself.
With Silver and Shadow appearing into Camelot as well, the group gets into more trouble then expected and their victory becomes uncertain.Any triggers in a chapter will be said at the start of it in the notes! Be safe, have fun and thank you for reading

“Forgive me, Sonic – Your Majesty. The spell I summoned you with... It only works one-way.” Hanging her head in shame, Merlina grips the flower Sonic gave her more tightly. Her unspoken admission that she only intended to use Sonic to get Excalibur’s scabbard, without any thought put into where he remained afterward, is loud and clear in the words she doesn’t speak.
“It’s still Sonic,” Sonic corrects her gently. “And don’t sweat it, Merlina, I’m sure there are other ways for me to go back, right?”

Trapped in the world of Arthurian legends and named the true King Arthur, Sonic suddenly has to deal with everyone looking up to him as their new ruler.
Can Sonic return home? Is there any truth to what Merlina foresaw about the demise of the Round Table and her world? And, can Sonic learn to navigate through a court worth of people who unlearned to think for themselves, especially when one of them starts eliciting new, foreign feelings in him and is haunted by his own demons?
A story exploring what it means for Sonic to be a free-spirited, adventure-loving guy stuck in the role of a king.

The knight did not rise. He never did until dismissed. “Mine liege,” Lancelot intoned, his voice low and steeped in reverence, “thy presence is both my honor and my penance. To serve thee is to be made whole, and without thy guiding light, I am but a blade without purpose, a sinner without absolution.”
