Well, maybe it's only the second time he sees this man, but who counts?
Or: Gi-hun accidentally tells a stranger at a bar that he lied to his friends about the existence of his boyfriend. In-ho can't resist taking this chance to get close to the man who won his attention at first sight. Everything goes according to plan.

Summary
While the words didn’t seem like much to Sang-woo, and Gi-hun chalked that up to the alcohol, they reverberated through Gi-hun’s head in a way that made his ears ring. The feeling that crashed over him, like a long-coming wave, was overwhelming and unequivocal. He tried to swallow it down, the same way he’d been trying to swallow it down for years. Perhaps it was the mental buffer that made this all so suddenly and overtly clear though. He had been an idiot for ever thinking otherwise because looking at Sang-woo now, wide and glossy eyes glittering with the reflection of a sky full of stars, how could he have ever not known?
Gi-hun and Sang-woo grow up through a series of firsts.

He could ignore the way Dae-ho sought him out in moments of solitude or the way he always stood too close, the flirting and the late night conversations. He could ignore the longing stares and the lingering touches or the fact that they’d been acting like a fucking married couple since Dae-ho moved in. Hell, he could even ignore the obsessive beating of his heart. It was more practical that way. He could ease some of the want that lived over his chest like a concrete slab, grazing the surface of something more and real but never quite falling into it.
Dae-ho has nowhere to go and Gi-hun has a hard time saying no.
