Her voice was low and raspy and she was hunched by the fire in an almost feline fashion, sizing her rival up. Her eyes appeared nearly black and her sharp canines glistened in the illuminated light.
Anna's body slowly rose of its own accord as the atmosphere took on a more threatening tone;
“I didn't. Van Helsing did.”
“So your ‘servant’, then.”

Summary
Faith never went evil in Season 3 and the Chosen Two are happily kicking ass together in Sunnydale. But Buffy’s about to start college and to coincide with this Giles has an out of town assignment for Faith. Her initial enthusiasm turns to horror when she learns she’ll be expected to go undercover in a San Diego high school and, worse, to join their cheerleading squad in an attempt to discover who or what is behind the evil attaching itself to the sport.
Buffy’s happy to focus on being a Freshman and finds Faith’s assignment hilarious. Or she does until she learns more about the blonde squad captain who’s taking up a little too much of Faith’s time…
Written to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the best teen movie ever. And much love to @thisyearsgrrl for the best BtVS / BiO crossover story in history. And to @shisumo for the title!

Summary
Buffy Summers is dead. Without a protector, the Scoobies summon the remaining Slayer, choosing to hope that they, and Faith, can put aside their past to keep Sunnydale safe.
Then Willow decides that she wants to bring Buffy back.
When Buffy returns, her friends say that she's different, wrong. Faith's hardly saved anyone, much less herself, but soon it's clear that only another Slayer can give Buffy the help that she needs, no matter how much they might hurt each other in the process.

Her parents passed five years ago, bequeathing the property to her - while intended as a gesture of love, to Lydia it was just responsibility with emotional baggage.
