Vox curled up on his side and tried to go to sleep. There was nothing else to do now but wait for the other V’s to come home. Nobody else knew about his designation, there was nobody else who could help him.But as he lay there, shaky and exhausted, waiting for sleep to come, his mind wandered and he came up with a backup plan. If push came to shove and he found himself on the brink of insanity from the pain, he would take out the little handheld radio he always kept on his bedside table and provoke the Radio Demon into beating him up. With any luck, though, it would never have to come to that.
