A round of cheers, drunk mothers with glasses held high as Chirrut slid off the stool and turned into a wiggly line of short college student. Baze, Tynnra, and her girlfriend all watched Chirrut warily as he steadied himself.And then he grabbed the stool, standing like an old man with a cheap walker. He giggled.
"Jesus Christ, Chirrut." Tynnra groaned. "How many shots?"
"Ah…tequila and blow jobs?" Chirrut answered instead, but it was answer enough.

Summary
News of the drake came first by pigeon. The high priest read the small scroll aloud, the news from the neighboring temple of the giant limping toward their lands traveled through their ranks. A dragon's path marked by a smattering of bloodied sheep carcasses and split scales. The second word on the drake came by a runner. The young boy eagerly eating what the temple had to offer while he explained. There'd been bandits behind the drake. Following a week behind tops. The older monks had mumbled to one another and Chirrut had thought that was the end of it for him.
Chirrut is sent to attend to an injured dragon, not realizing just what he's in for when he leaves the temple.

"I'm looking at you." Chirrut interrupted calmly, sliding his hands up and over the man's jaw, over his cheekbones and into the tangle of his hair. Chirrut ran his thumbs over Baze's forehead, planning to map the details from top to bottom.
Baze sniffed, the line of his mustache brushing against Chirrut's wrist as he said, "I'd have liked to see you do this to everyone else."
"I didn't. I don't care what they look like." Chirrut felt a soft eyebrow raise beneath his fingers. "Young and beautiful no doubt."
"Thanks." Baze said with a wince.

Summary
Joshua Faraday's final ride is legendary. Epic. Damn near heroic, he'd like you to know. Going out in a blaze of glory. Saving a whole town of innocents, not to mention his traveling companions. (Who are not so innocent.) A mighty death knell to ring out over the West, echoing his name and his sacrifice, his final deed to all who would hear. Yes. Awesome.
That is, until he regains consciousness standing over his own body as some sort of damned spirit. Jesus wept.
Now the only one who can see and hear him is Red Harvest. The least conversational person in the entire group. And his ridiculous horse Wild Jack, of course. He's seeing dead people ... well.. OTHER dead people. Creepy ones that seem to be after him. There's a coyote that's NOT a coyote. And owl that MAY be Death. (And very angry with him.) Spirit Lights that want to boss him around. Matthew Cullen. Teddy Q weepin' like a widowed bride. And apparently ... apparently ... a scruffy Mexican outlaw that had much different feelings toward Faraday than he ever imagined.

Summary
Being a hero with no superpowers kind of sucks. Clint Barton feels out of place in the Avenger Tower; Hawkeye feels out of place in his Brooklyn apartment. It's not hell though. He's got friends on both sides of his life, and he never gets bored. Still – there's this deep loneliness inside him that nothing can seem to cure.
After the whole Loki business, both sides of Clint feel a little out of step, and he tries to avoid aliens and giant monsters and world crisis in a whole. Problem is, he's not the only one to exist on several scales.
And who better than Bruce Banner to teach someone about dual nature.
