Summary
Seven months. It's been seven months since Splinter made Leonardo the new leader. It's been seven months of progressively worse arguing and now it's constant. Michelangelo's effectively moved in with Baron Draxum three weeks ago at Donnie's insistence and Splinter is always somewhere the conflict isn’t.
Donatello spends most of his time in his lab, leaving at night for some fresh air and to deal with old enemies. Someone has to, after all, and with two specific turtles refusing to leave the lair, it might as well be him.
However, one specific enemy might be growing into something more than he can handle on his own.
It’s on one of his escapes from the lair, however, that starts a whole strange chain of events. A chain of events where he finds himself very much unwillingly and begrudgingly not on his own, anymore. All thanks to a tripped motion sensor and Hypno-Potamus and Warren Stone.
Donatello's never helping anyone out of the sewer again.

“Wanna try somethin’ different.” His voice comes out hesitant at first, so he clears his throat and tries again. “I… I wanna switch.”
There’s a flicker of surprise in Husk’s eyes, but other than that, the confession seems not to alarm him. Not that it doesn't affect him- those are different, and if his growing blush, ragged breathing and twitching cock are any indication, Angel can surmise he’s rather affected indeed. He lets out a shaky breath. “That right?”
He has to bite back a smile as he stares up at him. “Yeah. I… shit, I need to be in control. Of somethin’. Of this. Please, let me make you feel good.”
So much goes unspoken in the look between them. It’s something he loves about the other: rarely ever does Angel actually have to speak the hardest words aloud, because Husk just… gets it. Angel knows he sees the words that die in his mouth, the ones that paint stories of ‘give’ that’s always ‘take’, and that ‘take’ until he bleeds. He doesn’t have to tell him that he needs this in more ways than just physical. He just nods. “Anythin, Angel. I’m all yours.”

It’s been nearly five months since Leo was appointed leader. Five months, yet he and Raph are still fighting about it. It started off small, little jabs here and there, and it’s only gotten worse. Tonight, on patrol, is no different.
Even with consequences for their arguing—their refusal to communicate or even cooperate with each other—it’s still no different.
It makes no difference.
And what happens is an accident, of course. But being an accident isn’t going to un-concuss Donnie. Nor is it going to stop their fighting, apparently.
But that’s fine. It doesn’t bother Donnie, he swears. It’s fine.
