They’re an unusual family, but nevertheless, no one would ever go so far as to call them ‘inhuman’. They’d call them strange but never ethereal- hard to understand but never otherworldly.
Funnily enough, that was exactly how the Bakugous liked it. No one ever expected the Fae to hide in plain sight, after all. -

Ohhhh My God. This whole thing,,, the entirety of this fic. Brilliance.
Okay editing this bookmark because I Did Not do this fic justice with those three sentences and LEMME TELL YOU MAN I was crying just THINKING about re-reading this I???? This might actually be one of my Absolute Favourites of all time like??
There are some fics I hold close to my heart because they taught me something really important- 'Finding Katsuki' made me realise that I didn't know who I was beyond what people expected of me, 'Green-Eyed Monster' taught me that sometimes people who claim to be your friends really can do you wrong, and that platonic consent is just as important as romantic. But this fic??? This fic made me feel LOVE- it just,, it really DOES feel like magic and maybe it didn't show me some closed off part of my past or give me a way to look at myself in an entirely new light but,, it taught me hope.
This author wrote a sunset into words and taught that magic is everywhere you want it to be, which means that magic really can be Everywhere and I?? This is honestly such a heart-felt fic I want to bookmark it a thousand times over and brand it into my soul, wear it around my neck like a locket and remind myself that love comes from the strangest of places but it will ALWAYS come from within. This fic feels like a love letter to the whole world and all its wonder and I don't think I'll ever forget it. I look at this story in the same way I look at the night sky- something longing, something like love. And isn't that just a magic all its own?
