Ever since the Cult of the True Eye has started participating in Phighting matches and lurking in the Crossroads, mysterious deaths have been reported throughout. Even in other lands-- Blackrock, Thieves' Den.
However, Rocket never thought too much on it. He had enough to worry about, with Zuka's shop and Sword's adventures and whoever else wanted to make an issue. But when devastation strikes, and Zuka is found dead in his shop, everything spirals. Rocket needs to find who this mysterious killer is and will not be stopped by anyone.

Blackrock’s weather was particularly cold and brutal this time of year. Medkit didn't like this cold. In an ideal world, he would choose not to stay in Blackrock, despite how badly seen it was for inphernals to leave their factions. At the limit, he would even be ready to leave behind all the work he's put so much heart into. So what’s really keeping him there?
Despite his conflicted feelings, Medkit cares enough about his colleague, Subspace, not to leave him. If he left, Subspace would despise him, rightfully so. And without Subspace, Medkit would be all alone out there.
Subspace is satisfied with what he has: a plan to achieve greatness and a hardworking coworker by his side. He never did put effort into becoming any closer than colleagues with Medkit, he didn't see the need for it.

Three twelve gauge at close range. Entering through the eyes, cheek, and mouth. Bucking in every front tooth on the way to making mince of the throat. In a blink, faster than the mind can transfer the sensation of eviscerated nerve endings to the brain, your head turned into mist above the shoulders, swirling in the air as the body collapsed to the steel decking, along with the hollow tinkle of three spent shells and friction-heated bone.
It was the start of a beautiful friendship.
