When Izuku came to, it was to the sound of dripping water and deep, even breathing.
He shifted slightly, feeling something painful and slightly sticky chafing against his wrists where they were kept together behind his back and a pressure around his ankles holding them together, and came to the conclusion that wherever he was, he wasn’t there willingly. It seemed, in fact, almost as if he had been kidnapped.

He was nervous quite a lot of the time actually, but right now it felt more overwhelming than normal.
He had been called into Nedzu’s office one afternoon with Aizawa-sensei, and while at first he was worried he had done something wrong, but the Aizawa-sensei had also said he didn’t know what was going on, and now Izuku was worried that he had somehow managed to get him and his teacher in trouble.
He wasn’t in trouble, but that didn’t alleviate his nerves.
Nedzu had picked Izuku to take part in an undercover operation as part of his training.
