Summary
Toph is the avatar- one who refuses to learn from humans. Teachers have failed her enough. Together with Aang- a descendant of Air Nomad survivors living undercover in the Earth Kingdom, she journeys across the nations- to learn all forms of bending, directly from the source.
Zuko is hunting for the avatar- and instead finds a waterbender who should be dead and her incredibly stubborn brother. With Sokka and Katara as a package deal, this steamboat's barreling onward- looking for the world's only hope. And some waterbending teachers.- Words:

Sitting on her bed with her back against the wall, she focuses on all the water around her. Her bending flask, the buckets they keep full for washing, and of course (and it bothers her how obvious it’s become to her) the blood of all her friends, sleeping peacefully in their rooms.Katara teaches Zuko a bit of waterbending and Zuko teaches her a bit of firebending, then they flirt by being mean to each other.
