Summary

His life implodes when he is attacked by a strange beast on his way home from work. If it weren’t for Kaeya, a beautiful knight summoned from the past, Diluc would have been monster dinner.
Neither Diluc nor Kaeya know why Mondstadt is suddenly bustling with monsters that hunt adepts of magic, but one thing is sure: they can count on each other.

Helping the heroes who have fallen victim to the new quirk-breaking drug is a terrible idea for many reasons, the first and most important being that he hates attention and avoids it like the plague. But he's the only one who can help, so he does.
This is, Izuku decides as he breaks in, more trouble than it's worth.

When you're a vengeful spirit attached to a bridge, it's hard to cross a lot of them. When you're on your last legs of human life it's the same deal.
But could two such people cross such things together?
