Summary
Buffy never did figure out the relationship thing, and neither did Giles. A few months post Sunnydale, they end up in bed together. Everything is perfect, until it isn't, or until Angel shows up and dredges up old feelings. With a growing threat in England, Giles leaves without warning.
It's been six months since Giles left, four since Angel realised he wasn't welcome. Then Faith calls with bad news: Buffy's needed in Devon, not to save the world, but to save Giles or risk losing him forever.

Oh, Lord [Have I ever mentioned how much I hate summarizing ]...Okay...Giles is depressed, Ethan complicates things and his actions result in catastrophic psychological damage to Giles. Willow and Tara have to anchor Buffy while she 'goes in' to Giles' mind to bring him out. Some action adventure with Ethan and a helpful new character but mostly a story designed to deal with a lot of unresolved issues Joss will never give us any closure on. I hope all Giles fans, not just B/Gers, will get something out of this fic.
