That's why when Batman showed up and promised him that He'd be okay, he believed him. But it doesn't take long to realize that this Batman isn't his. Now, after traveling back with this new Batman, Tim has to learn how to live in a universe that cares.
TLDR: Tim gets rescued by Bruce from the YJ universe and he isn't used to people caring about his existence.
