Summary
The year is 1926.
The first time Jeon Jungkook and Park Jimin meet, they are in the middle of the ocean, on a steamship headed to the new land. They are both married, but not to each other. The two couples have departed from their homeland, and are ready to start their lives over. However, upon arriving, Jimin and Jungkook's respective partners run off with each other and cannot be found, leaving Jimin destitute and alone in this unfamiliar land. Feeling responsible for Jimin, Jungkook suggests something utterly scandalous: a fake marriage.
Alone together in this strange, hot, and dusty land, they try to build themselves a good life, even if it is rooted in pretense.

It's almost comical the way a hush falls over the café, everyone turning in awe to see three members of their college football team saunter in with their broad shoulders and tall statures, all three so handsome it's almost difficult to look directly at them. The football team is famous on campus, not only for their good looks but for their almost undefeated record having been the division champions the last two years and expected to win their third overall title this year.
Their university is small but mighty with a top notch athletics division and an exceptionally good football program that's ranked nationally. And while the team is definitely incredible, it's the three individuals that just walked into the café that are the biggest draw for the students.

Summary
Seungmin sees the way that Minho looks at all of the members. The way he is always a support for Chan or the way he is able to reassure Jisung when his anxiety acts up. He doesn’t miss the way Minho is always open to hugs from Felix or how he will sit silently in Hyunjin’s room with the younger boy while he paints so he doesn’t feel alone. He seems to have a soft spot for all of the members despite his sometimes cold exterior. All of the members except for Seungmin that is. Maybe he is just hard to love after all.
Or: Seungmin just wants to be noticed and slowly spirals while they’re on tour.

Changbin’s eyes flit down, lingering on his clenched fist before coming back up to his face. His stone faced expression gives away nothing. “Okay, you can go first.”
Seungmin doesn’t want to give him the satisfaction by questioning him and quite frankly he doesn’t want to continue a conversation with him. He turns around and continues moving forward, a little bit faster than he previously was. But that’s not because he has anything to prove to Changbin.
In a doorway of a dark room he sees something out of the corner of his eye, Seungmin’s reflexes cause him to jump straight into action and he drives his knife into the temple of what he thinks is a zombie.
“Congrats Sweetheart, you just killed a mannequin.”

Pathetic.
He didn’t want to shout, he was always scolded for being loud. Maybe that was another reason why the other seven men didn’t want him as a mate. Another flaw to the never-ending list of why he was a bad omega. Changbin just wanted to forget about it, but life wasn’t making it easy. Plus, the fact that he was, apparently, unable to sense his own heat only made it worse. It was obvious why they didn’t want him, the only one who didn’t get it was him.
