Asa Mitaka hated Christmas.
It was nothing more than a commercialized scam meant to force people to spend more money than they had on things they didn't need or else they would feel bad about themselves. She had never bought into it, and had no intention of ever doing so.

Denji froze. He wasn't exactly leading the party, everyone kind of knew where to go already, where to step and where not to. Everyone meaning Nayuta, keeping the animals in control, being the one most ahead. Denji, meanwhile, kinda just stood more in the middle of the group, but despite that, him stopping did cause everyone else to do the same.
..So she's alive.

Summary
Denji, tired and overwhelmed from constant daily harassment, escapes to a secret spot on the school roof. He just wishes for some time alone. Unfortunately for him, he finds Asa already there. As often does with the two, an argument ensues. And who can blame them? Asa has stolen his favourite hideaway, while Denji has ignored her for days, after going on the date she doesn't remember.
