Summary
A couple thousand or so years ago, the Angel disappeared to sleep. Whether the sleep be cursed or natural no one knew. When he left, other gods went silent, no longer responding to prayers, and providing no favor or wrath would they normally would. The world would fall into disarray without them to help keep things in check. But to wake the Angel without good reason would be your demise, as many learned.
Tommy, however, did not know or care about these legends. He just wanted to save his friends man.

Summary
Tommy knows what it’s like to not belong - the world has made sure of that. Still, nothing could have prepared him for the day he woke up in a strange city, where all the people he knew had forgotten his name. Tommy is faced with a choice: adapt, or drown.
What makes things harder is his family - half of whom are supposed to hate him, the other half, dead. Except they’re not anymore, and they seem to actually care about him. Naturally, Tommy doesn’t know what to do with himself.
The only thing he knows for certain is that there's something seriously wrong with this city (and he doesn’t mean the fact that it vaguely resembles his home). The system is completely rigged, and while it might be tempting, Tommy can’t just stand by and watch the civilians suffer.
So, unlike the supposed ‘heroes’, Tommy decides to do something about it. This is his city now, and he decides that things are going to change.
That, or he’ll burn it to the ground.
Or, another superhero AU except this time c! Tommy gets thrust into it without a choice in the matter.

He'd been training under Dream's wing, and honestly couldn't have asked for anything better! Except-He's suddenly asked by the Sleepy Bois Inc (one of the best hero groups in the country, his idols) to join them on one of their missions, and he's almost screaming in joy. Almost.
